The FLIR Scion® OTM430 is a professional-grade thermal monocular designed for outdoor enthusiasts and security professionals. Built around the advanced FLIR Boson® 12 µm VOx microbolometer core, it delivers sharp thermal imagery with a detector resolution of 320 × 256 pixels. The device features a 36 mm lens providing a 6° × 4.5° field of view and an optical magnification of 3.8x, allowing for detailed observation at extended distances. Users can further enhance their view with digital zoom options of 1x, 2x, and 4x. The Scion OTM430 operates at a 9 Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth image rendering. Designed for rugged environments, it boasts an IP67-rated housing, offering protection against water and dust ingress. The monocular supports onboard video and image recording, with 2 GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD™ card up to 128 GB. Connectivity features include Bluetooth® BLE 4.1+ and Wi-Fi for video streaming, enhancing real-time sharing and analysis capabilities. Power is supplied by six CR123A 3V lithium batteries, providing up to 4.5 hours of continuous operation at 20°C.
